Window Cleaning Magic
Yes I get a little excited when I find a cleaning solution that works and is easy! I'm not particularly OCD about cleaning but I am OCD about the way things are cleaned- in a nut shell I hate cleaning something and it doesn't look that different! Windows would be the top of that list! I have tried just about everything over the years to get a sparkling, streak-free window. It shouldn't be that hard should it? And with a busy house of kids and pets windows are going to get messy.
Could it be true- a streak free scrub on, hose off solution? Surely not! (please let it be true, plleeeease!). Yes its true!!!
Window Cleaning Magic
- 1 bucket of warm water (cause I hate getting cold hands!)
- 1-2 tablespoons of Castile Liquid soap
- 1-2 tablespoon of dishwasher rinse aid (I used Finish but I doubt that brand is important)
- 1/2 cup of white vinegar
Mix and you are ready to start.
Hose off the exterior window. Scrub the mix on with a cloth or sponge. Hose the window off.
And thats it!! The windows dry streak free and clean. It really is magic!
Inside windows:
Exact same mix but fill a trigger spray bottle with it.... spray on, give a good scrub, wipe off with a soft, clean, absorbent cloth.
So there you go! Clean window excitement, all ready of their new batch of sticky finger prints with the bonus of another successful make-you-own cleaning product !
